Education and professional experience:
- Studied at Saarbrücken and Tübingen (Medicine and German Studies)
- Trained as specialist in radiology at the University Hospital of Tübingen
- 1991 – Founded a radiology practice in Sindelfingen, offering the full range of radiological Services: magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, conventional X-ray, ultrasound and mammography
- 2008 – Founded the Diagnostic Radiology department in the Vincenti Medical Centre

- High-field wide open magnetic resonance imaging (Panorama – the first high-field wide open magnetic resonance scanner with true 360 degree view and a width of 160 cm)
